I have always had a love and passion for all animals, and this led to me to study and become qualified in Animal Care. Here I gained invaluable knowledge on how to not only care for a variety of animals, but also to understand and identify their needs. I have an interest in canine psychology and what external factors makes dogs do the things they do.

I have shared my home with a variety of pets - dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, fish and birds and currently share my life with two very noisy and foody guinea pigs!

As well as running and working with our lovely families within Ruth's Dog Walking, I also get to spend my day with fabulous pups at my dog daycare business - Paddington Paws.

I am very thankful to our families to allow us to care for their pets, and I simply adore all our furry clients too!

Hi! I am Bonnie, I joined Ruth's Dog Walking LLC because I was looking for something I love to do: walking, animals and helping people out.

I have always had dogs and cats, and I wouldn't know what to do without them. One of my hobbies over the years was competing in Herding, Rally and Obedience. I enjoyed the herding the most because I was outside with my dogs and I liked watching how the dogs and livestock interacted with each other to move around a course. I got into Herding because one of my Rottweilers had some confidence issues.  I was hooked and the Rottweiler built up his confidence and lived a happy long life.

I love the intelligence of Australian Shepherds, and this is what got me into Rally and Obedience competitions. I even trained for charity half marathons with one of my Australian Shepherds.

Last year I had my knee replaced and now I am ready to get moving again. Maybe I will get back into Herding, Rally, charity half marathons but for now I would love to walk/care for your pets.

Hi all! My name is Adam, and I am overjoyed at the opportunity to take care of your pets. From the time I was in single digits, I helped my mom foster kittens and raise our family dogs. As I got a little older, I started volunteering at our local animal shelter. I have cohabitated with cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, and rats my entire life.

While working on my degree, I have found that working with animals has kept me grounded in a way that nothing else can compare to – when I'm overwhelmed, the pitter patter of paws on tile brings me right back down to earth. I am honored to be able to give our clients peace of mind by providing their pets with the best of care.

Even from a young age I've always been intrigued by animals of all kinds. During my early years in Arizona playing with my tomcat Aladar and my bearded dragon DunDee! If I wasn't around them I was either reading about any animal I could or outside trying to find them myself!

Moving to Washington my love for animals only grew as I met new family and friends who had their own furry (or not furry!) friends. I found myself always jumping to the opportunity to care for their pets if they were ever in need. As I've gained a better understanding of how animals think and why they act the way they do, it's not only helped me with my own pets but others as well. Sometimes we need a helping hand with our pets and I've found a real joy in extending that hand to owners who might need a break when life gets unpredictable. I enjoy meeting all people and pets at RDW and my main goal is to make pets feel as if you never left!

Every dog deserves a walk that's fun, safe, and full of love - and I'm thrilled to be the one to make it happen.

I love helping dogs feel happy, confident, and well-cared-for, and I look forward to meeting each new pup and discovering what makes them unique. I bring calm, patient, and structured leadership to every walk, shaped by my hands-on experience with professional dog trainers and large pack walks. Having owned both big working breeds and small family dogs, I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and temperaments, and I always prioritize safety and positive experiences. I believe every dog deserves individualized attention through play, exercise, and gentle guidance, and I strive to give owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring, capable hands. Above all, my goal is to create walks that are fun, enriching, and tailored to each dog's needs.

Belinda

Woodinville
Hi, I'm Belinda. I've had the opportunity to care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I believe in using positive reinforcement to help pets feel safe, confident, and comfortable during every visit.

Outside of dog walking, I have experience working with horse care, which has given me the chance to care for animals with a wide range of needs and temperaments. I also have a special place in my heart for senior dogs - they deserve a little extra patience, kindness, and love, and I enjoy helping them stay happy and comfortable at their own pace. My goal is to make every visit a positive experience while giving you peace of mind that your pet is in caring, reliable hands.

Emily

Gig Harbor
Hi all! I'm Emily. I've had a passion for animals my whole life. Growing up I raised everything from hamsters to horses. I had a best friend in the form of a Labrador Retriever who never left my side. Because of her I found 4-H and fell in love with dog training during my school age years.

After graduation I started working in small animal veterinary medicine and that became my new passion, I especially loved working in emergency medicine. Years later I started a family and have a daughter. I made the choice to take a break from medicine to focus on my family but missed caring for the wonderful pets of Gig Harbor. I was beyond excited to have the opportunity to work for Ruth and offer my years of experience to her wonderful clients and their furry family members. Thank for for trusting me with your beloved pets. I'm grateful to be on a team that carries the same passions I do for providing the highest quality care for such amazing animals.

I like to say that I came out of the womb obsessed with dogs, because I genuinely can't remember I time wasn't!

Fueled by the 101 Dalmatians craze of the '90s, I had my life planned out by 9. I'd certainly be a Dalmatian breeder/show handler. Alas, many years and much wisdom later, I've proudly come to own many rescue mutts over my adult life instead.

Over the past 15 years, I've also built a wide foundation of professional dog experience. I've worked in several dog-centric fields including: a dog hotel/daycare, as a veterinary assistant, a trainer, and for a holistic pet food store. All the while I partook in dock diving, lure coursing, canine-assisted therapy, barn hunt, agility, nose work, and a single failed herding attempt!

Now, I'm thrilled to be spending time with the beloved pups of Gig Harbor. It is truly an honor!

Carina

Gig Harbor
Hello my name is Carina! Believe it or not my love for dogs came late in life. I didn't get my first dogs until 2 years ago! Believe me I've been making up for lost time - working in a busy dog daycare and an animal clinic.

I spend my time with my two beautiful pups and I also foster pups that are still looking for their forever home.

I cannot wait to work with you and your pup.
